Skills-Based

Graduate Work Stream

18 Months

For graduates with skills and qualifications related to an occupation on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL). Requires skills assessment.

Study Requirements

  • Completed eligible Australian qualification
  • Studied for at least 2 academic years (92 weeks)
  • Course registered on CRICOS
  • Completed within last 6 months
  • Studied in English

English Proficiency

  • IELTS: Overall 6.0 (minimum 5.0 each band)
  • PTE Academic: Overall 50 (minimum 36 each)
  • TOEFL iBT: Total 64 (L/R 4, W/S 14)
  • Cambridge: Overall 169 (minimum 154 each)
  • OET: B for each component

  • Hold or have held Student visa (500)

Wait for your visa outcome. You'll receive a Bridging Visa A while your application is processed, allowing you to work full-time in Australia.
