Enhanced Caregiver Pilots (2025) Enhanced

On March 31, 2025, Canada launched new, enhanced caregiver pilots to replace the expiring Home Child Care Provider and Home Support Worker pilots. These new pilots offer a more direct and streamlined pathway to permanent residence for qualified caregivers.

The enhanced pilots address feedback from caregivers and employers, making it easier for skilled caregivers to obtain permanent residence and for Canadian families to access care services.
