Up to 5 people can apply as owners of single qualifying business, each receiving permanent residency if approved.
Successful applicants receive permanent residence, providing a direct path to Canadian citizenship for entrepreneurs.
Must secure a commitment from a designated organization (venture capital, angel investor, or incubator).
At time of commitment, each applicant must hold 10%+ voting rights and all applicants + designated org must hold 50%+ total voting rights.
Obtain a Letter of Support from a designated organization (venture capital fund, angel investor group, or business incubator).
CLB 5 in English or French in all four abilities (speaking, reading, listening, writing).
Proof of sufficient funds to settle in Canada based on family size (unless already legally working in Canada or have valid job offer).
Meet standard admissibility requirements including medical and security checks.
Must commit a minimum of $200,000 CAD investment to your business. Connects you with established investment networks.
Must commit a minimum of $75,000 CAD investment. Individual investors pooled together for startup funding.
No minimum investment required. Provides mentorship, workspace, and resources to help launch your business in Canada.
Create an innovative business concept that can compete globally and contribute to Canada's economy.
Present your idea to designated organizations and secure a Letter of Support or commitment.
Prepare language tests, settlement fund proofs, and all required documentation.
Apply for permanent residence through IRCC's online portal with all supporting documents.
Upon approval, receive your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and immigrate to Canada.
