Important Notice for Indian Citizens

India is NOT eligible for the DV Lottery program due to high immigration numbers to the USA. However, Indians can still participate if their spouse was born in an eligible country, or explore other pathways like EB Green Card, EB-5 Investor Visa, or H1B Work Visa.

What is DV Lottery?

The Diversity Immigrant Visa Program, also known as the Green Card Lottery, is a United States government program that grants up to 55,000 immigrant visas annually through a random lottery selection. The program aims to diversify the immigrant population in the United States by selecting applicants from countries with historically low rates of immigration to the USA.

The lottery is completely FREE to enter - you only need to submit an application during the annual registration period (October-November). Winners are randomly selected by computer, and if selected, you can obtain a Green Card for yourself and your immediate family members (spouse and unmarried children under 21).
